DIED, in Colebrook, O., Sister Susannah Thorp, in the 47th year of her age, with consumption. She was a member of the S. D. A. church in Orwell and Bloomfield. She embraced the Bible Sabbath about four years ago. We shall very much miss her society in the Wayne band, as it was more convenient for her to attend with us. Sister Thorp was a consistent, every-day Christian, deeply interested in the cause of present truth. As she approached the river of death, she became very happy with the glorious prospect of eternal life; and almost her last words were, "Come, Jesus, come." She leaves a husband and four children to mourn their irreparable loss.
Discourse by the writer from 1 Thess. iv, 14–18.
