The Work Going Forward.

By John Norton Loughborough

THE site, one hundred feet square, for our printing house, in this city, is purchased at a cost of $5,000, and the money paid. Only about $3,000 of the amount subscribed for the publishing fund has been paid. Bro. John Morrison, who subscribed and has paid $1,000, has advanced $2,500 more for a short time, which enables the committee to pay cash down for the site.

What is next wanted, and wanted now, is the payment of subscriptions to enable the committee to return to Bro. Morrison the money he has so liberally advanced, and to go right forward with the building. None are pressed to hire money at high rates of interest, in order to pay their subscriptions now. But those who can raise all, or a part of their subscriptions, are urgently requested to do so without delay. Money packages should be sent to Elder James White, Oakland, Cal. Drafts should be made payable to James White.
