O’MALEY.—

W. E. O’Maley, born Jan. 19, 1861, in New York State, died at the Glendale Sanitarium, in California, Sept. 23, 1913, of blood poisoning. He first heard the message preached by Elder Simpson in 1904, and was stirred with its power. For the past six years special prayers were offered by the church for his conversion. These messages to the throne, and the earnest pleadings of his faithful wife, were answered shortly before his death. Before his illness took a serious turn, he placed his hands in the hand of Jesus, and later assured his dear ones that he was prepared to meet the Saviour. Brother O’Maley leaves a wife and two sons. The funeral services were conducted by the writer.
