PROFESSOR HUXLEY says that when a scientific man gets a theory in his head, he won't give in to another if it can be proved by 1,000 men that he is wrong. Of course he won't! It's part of the business to disagree with everybody else. Then folks will think he's right and knows more than the others.—Alta.
