War Advances Woman Suffrage

A CORRESPONDENT of the Christian Herald, writing from England, declares that the cause of woman's suffrage has been immeasurably helped by the war situation, and by the conduct of the suffragists during this time of stress and trial. The writer referred to states that Englishmen of all shades of political belief render practically the same verdict on the subject. Even some who have assisted in the prosecution of Mrs. Pankhurst and her militant followers agree that their demands will be granted.
