Death of Howard E. Osborne

A TELEGRAM from Mrs. Jessie K. Osborne, dated Escondido, Cal., February 26, brings the sad intelligence of the death of her husband, Brother Howard E. Osborne, at that place on February 24. He had been ill but one week, suffering from an attack of typhoid fever. Brother Osborne, though a comparatively young man, was well known among our people, having been connected with our religious liberty work in an official capacity both at New York and at Chicago, holding for two years the office of secretary of the General Conference, and laboring in the ministerial and educational work. The cause has thus lost a valued laborer, and one well loved by those who knew him. Our sympathies are extended to the bereaved wife and sorrowing relatives.
