E. M. CRANDALL

From Bro. Crandall.

BRO. SMITH: I have met with the brethren and sisters at Oakland, Wis., and spoke to them with some freedom two or three times, of late, and the Lord has been with us to strengthen and encourage. Many testimonies were borne with feeling and effect. The church is awake to the solemn and important times in which we live. The members seem to be alive to the importance of taking a higher stand in the cause of present truth, and of letting their light so shine that others may be led to embrace the last message of mercy to fallen man. Two have expressed a desire to forsake their wanderings and go with the people of God to Mt. Zion.
