MONTHLY MEETING IN CLYDE, OHIO.

By request of the churches of Green Springs and West Townsend, they were united into one under the name of the church of Clyde, by the recent Conference. A Monthly Meeting was held in Clyde, August 10 and 11. The church of Clyde has now about twenty members; some of the members of the late Green Springs church have removed to Fremont. At a business meeting on the 11th, Bro. O. F. Guilford was elected Elder, Bro. W. D. Sharpe, Clerk, and Bro. Wm. Herald, Deacon and Treasurer. The ordinances were celebrated in the afternoon of the same day.
This was an excellent meeting. It is believed that the union above referred to will prove a benefit to the cause in Sandusky Co.; all seemed much encouraged, and they have taken hold of the work anew under their new name with hopeful prospects. May the love and zeal which animated them at this meeting ever be manifested toward God, his saints, and his cause. J. H. WAGGONER.
