Spanish Books Shipped Abroad

THE work of our missionaries in Spanish-speaking countries is beginning to make itself felt at the office of the Pacific Press Publishing Company in Mountain View, Cal., where the books are being published in that language. On June 20 they shipped three thousand Spanish books to Mexico City, and on the day following, thirteen hundred Spanish books to Valparaiso, Chile. This was followed on July 1 by a shipment of thirteen hundred Spanish books to Guayaquil, Ecuador. Such shipments as these are certain soon to be greatly increased, as a result of the work of our augmented force of faithful missionaries in those fields, and also as a result of the influence which these books themselves will exert among the people.
