Death of Elder M. D. Mattson

We deeply regret to learn of the death of Elder M. D. Mattson, which occurred December 4, at his old home, Blockville, N. Y. Brother Mattson was for some years the Bible instructor at South Lancaster Academy, South Lancaster, Mass., and later filled the same position at Union College, College View, Neb. In both places his work was highly esteemed, and his failing health was the only reason for his withdrawal. We plan to publish next week a sketch of his life and work.
