Our Refuge in That Day

By C. P. Bollman

C. P. Bollman
Probation’s hour is passing; Time’s speeding fast away, And soon we’ll face in judgment The issues of that day.
The end is swiftly coming, The end of sin’s dark sway: Earth shall be purged by fire, The burning of that day.
But when the rocks are melting, When islands flee away, We know a certain refuge From fear in that dread day.
The Lord will be our refuge; We’ll wait and watch and pray; And we’ll not be o’ertaken By destruction in that day.
