Services in the House of God
By Editor
A MINISTER wrote to our Australasian publishing house, saying: “I see you favor the ten commandments. I am a minister and believe in God’s law. Can you furnish me a chart for the wall containing the ten commandments in large letters? I want it to preach from.” Would that more ministers used the ten commandments for texts. There would be less sin in the world; “for sin is [still] the transgression of the law.” Our General Articles department in this number is wholly devoted to a discussion of the question of services in the house of God. Following the article by Elder J. S. Washburn on “Adventist Music,” the entire department was prepared by students of the Washington Missionary College.
