is found in Mrs. Ida M. Fischer’s new arrangement of “Nearer My God to Thee.” Taking as a theme a selection from “The Evening Bell,” by Adolf Low, Mrs. Fischer has arranged Sarah Adams’s immortal words to this in a most pleasing and effective way.
The same self-sacrificing spirit that has characterized all of Mrs. Fischer’s labor is revealed in her dedication of this music to missions. It has been published at her own expense, and the proceeds from the sale of the piece will be equally divided, and given to aid the mission work in the Spanish and Southern fields.
