A VARIETY of articles fill the August number of The Missionary Review of the World. Perhaps the most interest ing is that on “Obstacles to Christian Missions in China,” by a native Chinese Christian. There are a number of articles on Africa, dealing with the “Distribution of Missionary Forces,” “Lourenco Marques Country,” “Angola,” and “Negro Missions.” Other subjects treated are “Evangelistic Effort Among the Young,” “The Caravan Mission to French Gypsies,” “The Gospel in Brazil,” “The Signs of the Times in India,” “The Williamstown Band,” etc.
