YES, good stenographers are always in demand, both in denominational work and outside. But many are satisfied with very ordinary skill, and do not become proficient. Such persons find it difficult to hold their positions, and after a time drift into some other kind of work. Even with the best text-books and the most approved system the way to the top is difficult, and requires untiring perseverance.
