The Christian Duty of Missions

THE commonwealth of love for which Christ lived and died is world-wide. We can not love any part of it rightly unless our thoughts and our desires reach out through that part to the greater whole to which it belongs. Indifference to missions is the worst kind of treason. Enthusiasm for missions is the measure both of our faith in Christ and of our love for man.—Henry Van Dyke.
