Tents for Michigan.

Since I offered my large tent for sale, a few weeks ago, several brethren in the State object to its being sold out of Michigan, as two tents are needed in the State. I bought the tent with the impression that two were needed, and the experience of last fall's camp-meetings fully confirmed this view of the matter.
The brethren in the southern part of the State have more than paid their proportional part of the expense of the second tent, while the brethren in the northern part of the State have paid but a small portion of their part. These are the simple facts in this case.
As I have had no offers for the tent from other States, and as our brethren in this State think it should not be sold, and are paying some of the debt, I conclude to keep the tent no longer in the market. I shall now wait for the money I advanced till the friends donate it, when the tent will be the property of the Michigan Conference. I will, however, here suggest that I need this money very much. I ask nothing for my labor and care in procuring this, the best tent I ever saw, or for the use of the money since last July. But I would like the principal without delay.
JAMES WHITE.
