BALLARD'S FALLS, KANSAS.

By Joseph Lamont; L. D. Santee

THE interest in this place continues good. Seventeen have been added to the church, and besides these, two or three families are keepingthe Sabbath. Yesterday there was an attempt made to disprove the Sabbath and bolster up Sunday. The effort was very weak, owing to an entire lack of Bible evidence. It was reviewed in the afternoon before about four hundred. Calls for labor are coming in from every side; one of us will probably fill some of these calls, while the other holds the fort under the canvas. Many are studying to know the truth, some of whom we trust will obey. We could labor to advantage in this country for the coming year. May the Lord give wisdom to move judiciously.
