God Is Good

“ALMIGHTY God, thy works around In beauteous order speak thy praise, And years with smiling mercy crowned, To thee successive honors raise.
“Each changing season on our souls Its sweetest, kindest influence sheds; And every period, as it rolls, Showers countless blessings on our heads.
“Yes; God is good: in earth and sky, From ocean depths and spreading wood, Ten thousand voices seem to cry, God made us all, and God is good!”
