Born to Bear Witness

“To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world,” said Jesus, “that I should bear witness unto the truth.” What stronger testimony could be given of the value of truth? What can there be for which we should more earnestly and persistently seek? And when we have found the truth, what should we be more zealous for than to bear witness to it? To this end were we born, and for this cause came we into the world. “As He is, so are we in this world.”
