Science in the Kitchen

BY MRS. E. E. KELLOGG
The author has thoroughly revised this book, which has been out of print for several months, and has added a large number of new recipes, besides other new and important matter. This work contains more original matter in relation to healthful cookery, and more new, practical, and thoroughly wholesome recipes than any work which has appeared within the last twenty-five years. Indeed, it is the most complete guide to the healthful preparation of food which has ever been published. It represents the results of more than twenty years’ constant study and research, together with the practical experience in catering to the needs of many thousands of invalids who have during this period visited the Battle Creek Sanitarium.
The new edition is provided with a large number of beautiful and instructive plates to illustrate in a novel and very practical manner the art of hygienic cookery. No recipe has been admitted to this work which has not been previously thoroughly tested and approved.
