COVEY.—Died at her home near Friend, Ore., March 13, 1904, aged 26 years, Sister Annie Elizabeth Covey, wife of Dr. M. L. Covey. Sister Covey was baptized about one year ago by Elder R. D. Benham, and united with the church. About two months ago she was severely burned by her clothes taking fire while working near the stove in her home. She suffered terribly, but bore her suffering with wonderful patience. She leaves a husband, mother, brother, and other friends to mourn her departure. Words of comfort were spoken by Brother D. S. Wheeler, based on 2 Sam. 14:14. W. H. LASHIER.
