Note from Bro. Cornell.

We are now engaged in a course of lectures in the Disciple house in Paris, about twelve miles from Brighton. Have given ten lectures, and the interest is good. The house is crowded most of the time. When Bro. Butler left, it was thought advisable for me to remain in the vicinity of Brighton for the present.
We had another season of baptism after Bro. Butler left; and the whole number who have united with the church at Brighton is forty-four. Several more will go forward when they have convenient opportunity.
Our address for three weeks is Valley P. O., Washington Co., Iowa. M. E. CORNELL.
