An Isolated Sister’s Week of Prayer

FROM an isolated sister in Montana comes this word of courage: “Many years I have kept the week of prayer alone, so far as association with those of like precious faith is concerned, but God is always near. In his presence we may abide. No matter how hard the battle goes, though sorrow and trouble and distress come in like a flood, we may look to our heavenly Father for unerring wisdom, for strength that quiets every tumult, and for confidence in the final outcome. The week of prayer just passed held in store for me many blessings as it sounded forth the call for every believer to come up on higher ground. May there be in the year to come a quickening of the spirit of heart-love for souls, and victory over sin through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
