THE above cut is a reproduction of the cover of the September Watchman. It pictures Peace banished from Europe, and makes one of the most attractive three-color cover designs that has appeared on this magazine for some time. On the inside, as a frontispiece, appears a full-page illustrated Scripture text. This is the first of a series five of illustrated Scripture texts dealing with the conditions in the world at the present time. Another very striking feature of the September Watchman is a full-page illustration of the recent “Eastland” steamboat disaster at Chicago, accompanied by a short note from the editor.

Taking it all the way through, this issue promises to be one of the most interesting and attractive that has yet been published. Some of the articles are as follows:—
