Meetings in Wisconsin.

SINCE my last report I have held meetings with the church at Monroe; it was their Quarterly Meeting. I had good liberty in speaking, and there seems to be a rising interest in this church, to work in the vineyard of the Lord. I think if they are faithful in circulating tracts, and show their faith by a well-ordered life and godly conversation, that by next winter they should have a protracted meeting there of three or four weeks. I think much good might be done by such a meeting.
From Monroe, I came to Darlington and spent a few days trying to encourage the little company there. Held three meetings with them, and organized a Sabbath School and Bible Class. Two were baptized.
I then came on to Cassville, Grant Co., and on the twelfth and thirteenth, we had our Quarterly Meeting, which was quite interesting, and very solemn. I shall, the Lord willing, continue to labor with this church the next two weeks, then go to Trempealeau, and from there to Victory, Wis. J. SANBORN.
