ADDRESS REVIEW & HERALD, Battle Creek, Michigan.
This makes just one line in the weekly prospectus of the REVIEW AND HERALD, which may be seen at the top of the first column, of the first page of the paper. Please turn over your paper and read it.
This means that all who write articles for the paper, and those also who write to the Office on common business, should address their letters—REVIEW AND HERALD, Battle Creek, Michigan. We hope all will follow this direction.
There are received at this Office about one hundred letters per day. Many of these are addressed to REVIEW AND HERALD, some to Eld. J. N. Andrews, some to Eld. James White, and a few to E. S. Walker and J. M. Aldrich. This confusion is decidedly inconvenient and unpleasant. The persons named expect that all letters pertaining to themselves, and to matters in which they are personally interested, will be directed to them. But they do not wish to be troubled with letters relating solely to the general business of the Office. All such letters should be addressed, REVIEW AND HERALD, so that they may at once go into the hands of those who have charge of the books of the Office, and who do all general business. The same is true of the Youth's Instructor—Address REVIEW AND HERALD.
But the confusion relating to Post Office money orders, and drafts, is still greater. Let it be remembered that all money orders and all drafts sent to this Office for the REVIEW AND HERALD, Youth's Instructor, books, General Conference, Michigan Conference, and all benevolent objects, should be made payable to REVIEW AND HERALD. All sums over five dollars should be sent either in money order, or in drafts. The Office will be responsible for sums of five dollars and less, if safely inclosed in an envelop, and plainly marked, REVIEW AND HERALD, Battle Creek, Michigan.
