Our Monthly Meeting in Newton, May 14, 1870, was well attended, and a searching, practical discourse given by Bro. Waggoner, from Heb. 10:35-39. Remarks on faith and the trial of the faith of the people of God in the time of the end were made, which should be remembered by us all. After the sermon, nearly all professing the truth took part in a social interview. We think all were encouraged to try more fervently to overcome.
