His “Method”

“What method do you use in selling the paper?” asked B. L. Anderson, of Amoy, of a young Chinese colporteur.
“Before starting out,” he replied, “Ifirst ask the Lord to help me, and give me wisdom to do his work. I select the chief street and try very hard to secure a subscription in the first shop. I know that the truth in the paper is the most important thing under the sun, and pray God to help me make the shopkeeper believe this.”
“In a city where others could not sell a paper,” says the missionary, “this young man secured more than one hundred subscribers for the Chinese Signs of the Times in less than four days.”
