Wait on the Lord

CHARLES E. E. SANBORN
WHEN the mists have cleared forever, And the Saviour calls us home On the resurrection morning, We shall know as we are known.
In my flesh, like Job, I’ll see him. Blessed privilege! Face to face, I shall know his full salvation, Through him I’ll have won the race.
Now the heart with toil grows weary, And the trials press us sore; How we long for Jesus’ coming, Which is even at the door.
Courage, courage! O, be faithful! Soon the battle will be o’er, And with Christ, our blessed Saviour, We shall dwell forevermore.
St. Louis, Mo.
