Changes in the Quebec Conference

SOME changes are scheduled in the Quebec Conference, whose annual meeting has just closed. Elder W. J. Tanner, formerly of Haiti, West Indies, has been chosen president, in place of Elder Geo. H. Skinner, who feels it duty to work near his people in the West for a time. Elder Tanner has spent about twelve years in the West Indies, and on account of his wife's health is compelled to change to a more northern climate. Some other laborer, however, must quickly be found for the French-speaking republic of Haiti.
