As Reuben Worick, your former director, has resigned, and his resignation has been accepted by the district, thereby leaving your district without a director, I hereby appoint James A. Ashbaugh, of Salem, Jewell county, Kan., director of Dist. No. 1, Kansas T. and M. Society, till the next annual meeting of the society. Bro. Reuben Worick will see that all books, tracts, papers, and other property belonging to said district, are promptly turned over to Bro. James A. Ashbaugh, who will give a receipt for the same, and at once enter upon the duties of director of said district. J. N. AYERS, Pres. Kan. T. and M. S.
