“The Master’s Greatest Monosyllables”
“The Master’s Greatest Monosyllables,” written by Rev. William P. Pearce, is an attractive and helpful book of 132 pages. The great monosyllables—Come, Go, Do, Lo—are treated, showing their rich significance. While the author does not lack originality, he presents a large number of the wisest and most inspiring gems from other minds, in verse and prose. Bible references are given at foot of page. The treatment of the first of these monosyllables expresses many precious truths of evangelism, the second of missions, the third of general Christian activity, and the fourth is well designed to inspire a trustful waiting upon the Lord. How fully our times fulfill the prophecies of the times immediately to precede the second advent of Christ may be questioned, but the glory of His coming is emphasized with telling effect. The reader is left in a very devoted state of mind, stronger in faith, richer in spirit. The book is printed neatly, cloth bound, and is published by the Review and Herald Pub. Co., Battle Creek, Mich.—The Christian World, Reformed Church Organ. Price..........50 cts., postpaid. Order of your State Tract Society.
