MORE SUNDAY LEGISLATION.

The Christian Weekly of Feb. 22 contains the following significant paragraph:— The Cincinnati Sabbath Committee evidently mean business. They have introduced a bill into the Ohio Legislature whose passage we hope yet to note, making it an offense punishable by fine and imprisonment to engage in games, common labor, theatrical exhibitions, or the sale of spirituous liquors on the first day of the week. It will be new times for many of the imported Buckeyes if they are restricted from doing their own pleasure on the Sabbath, and from perverting the day of rest and worship by such defiant desecration as has at last aroused the lovers of order and peace to vindicate its claims.
