Birch Dale, Todd Co., Feb. 28.—My meetings here have closed for the present. Six are keeping the Sabbath, two of whom embraced the truth by reading before I came here. There are eight others who are convinced.
The U. B. preacher who left for fear the truth would go to his church, returned, bringing two other preachers and nearly all his church. With those who oppose the truth here, they took possession of the school-house, crowding me out of my appointment, and speaking in bitter terms against the truth. All this reminds us of Matt. 12 : 45. JAMES S. BROWER.
