The Improved Gatling Gun

The Gatling gun has recently been so “improved” that over one thousand shots can be fired from it per minute. The British have several of them in use in their war against the Zulus in Africa. As the result it is said that after the battle the natives are found in groups of from 14 to 30; and in the battle of Gingilovo, 473 dead Zulus were found within a radius of 500 yards. To moralize over such a statement would be unnecessary.
