“I’m Going To…”

GRENVILLE KLEISER
“I’m going to make tons of money In the easy Wall-Street game; I’m going to spend my time and strength In making a well-known name.
“I’m going to build a showy house, Outdo my neighbors all; I’m going to hedge the place around With a high, imposing wall.
“I’m going to join a dozen clubs And see my name in print; Since money brings publicity, I’ll spend it without stint.
“I’m going to own a private yacht, To be in the social swim; It will cost a lot of money, But I’ll gratify my whim.
“I’m going to travel much abroad, And boast of what I know; No matter what the cost may be, I’m going to make a show.
“I’m going to do a lot of good, Not now—I’m busy, you see; I’m going to give to sick and poor, That is,—sometime,—maybe.
“I’m going to do so many things;” His face was worried and wan. “I’m going—” he quickly gasped for breath; “I’m going—” and he was gone!
