Burrough Valley and Lemoore, Cal.

WE found the church at Burrough Valley quite active in the missionary work, and they have several keeping the commandments in that vicinity as a result. We held meetings with them for three days with good results, some taking a new start, and others for the first time deciding to give themselves to the Lord.
We returned to Fresno, and the Methodist people kindly permitted us to have a meeting in their house of worship. The house was full, and the interest good. It seemed as though the work in these places ought to be followed up by more meetings.
We found the Lemoore church had allowed the enemy to gain a strong hold among them. We labored with them for days, but the way seemed dark and hedged up. At last the Spirit of the Lord came in, and many hearty confessions were made, and tears flowed freely. We go to Los Angeles from here, to hold meetings and prepare for the camp-meeting.
