El Monte, Los Angeles Co., Cal.

By E. A. Briggs

The Lord's work still goes forward encouragingly in this county. The meetings in this village have been peculiarly embarrassed by stormy weather; yet a good interest has been shown, and nine have signed the covenant to keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Dozens of others acknowledge that we have the truth; and it is to be hoped that some of these also will obey. E. A. Briggs.
