Temperance Vote in New South Wales

THE government of New South Wales, Australia, has arranged to give the citizens of the entire State the opportunity of expressing their will upon the liquor traffic. The question is to be entirely divorced from politics, and our people are planning to throw the whole weight of their influence in behalf of temperance.
A special temperance edition of the Australasian Signs of the Times was issued previous to the balloting day, and circulated in large numbers. Three propositions are before the people there: to continue the licenses, to reduce the licenses, to discontinue liquor licenses entirely. The temperance people of New South Wales are earnestly hoping for a complete liberation from the liquor traffic.
