Three Good Books

Containing “Meat in Due Season”
For all Review Readers and Every Individual Member of the Church

Early Writings

By Mrs. E. G. White
IN this book is presented a compilation and reprint of the first published testimonies of the author, with foot-notes giving dates and explanations. It is a reprint of the old book published in 1851 under the title of “Experiences and Views,” with no change of the original idea or sentiment.
Although many of the subjects treated in this book have been enlarged upon and brought out in other books by the author, they seem to be especially appreciated in condensed form as given in “Early Writings.”
It sparkles with the plain principles of the third angel’s message, and brings to the reader a store of information and instruction that will be especially helpful at the present development of our denominational work, and will do more to establish faith and confidence in the gift of the spirit of prophecy to this people than any other book published.
As an illustration of the general clearness of the instruction given to the church on all points, we quote just a few words from page 97 on organization:—
“And now in these last days, while God is bringing his children into the unity of the faith, there is more real need of order than ever before; for, as God unites his children, Satan and his evil angels are very busy to prevent this unity and to destroy it.”
The work contains 154 pages, bound in plain cloth; price, 75 cents, post-paid.

The Great Second Advent Movement

By J. N. Loughborough
THIS book accurately cites the progress of the denomination from the beginning down to the present time. Having been intimately connected with the denomination from its beginning, and being a close observer and possessing a special gift for record-keeping, the author is prepared to speak with accuracy and authority. There is no other book circulated at the present time of such importance and thrilling interest to the readers of the REVIEW. It will strengthen faith and confidence in the great advent movement. Its readers will have a more perfect knowledge of the dealings of God with this people and of the message they are giving, and will be better prepared to unite their efforts in advancing this great work. Bound in plain cloth, 400 pages; price, $1.50.
