Mission Work in the Pacific Islands

The Islands of the Pacific are given first place in The Missionary Review of the World for July. Rev. Francis M. Price writes of the difficulties and encouragements connected with “Mission Work in Guam,” the new territory of the United States in the Central Pacific. Rev. J. C. Goodrich contributes another illustrated article on “Bible Work in the Philippines”—another important field with great possibilities and great dangers. “The Turk and the Missionaries” is the subject chosen by the managing editor to describe some of the interesting facts learned on a recent trip in the Orient. Dr. Francis E. Clark writes on “Christian Endeavor on the Mission Fields,” and George Sherwood Eddy on India’s “National Missionary Society.” The Review is filled with immediate information of work in all parts of the globe.
