To the Friends in the South.

In accordance with the advice of the General Conference Committee, I expect to spend a few weeks in the Southern States, to labor where help may be needed and to see what further needs to be done. I shall, therefore, be pleased to hear immediately from any friends of the cause in that part of the field,—the States south of the Ohio river. If there are any small bodies of Sabbath-keepers, or lone ones, or persons specially interested in the present truth, or any promising openings for labor, I shall hope to hear from them soon. We wish to learn what the prospects are for this part of the field. Direct to me at Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., Ky.
