A PRAYER.

By Eliza H. Morton

LORD of nations! Heavenly King! Offerings to thee we bring; Thou who hast all power in Heaven! May thy light to us be given.
Hear us when we call on thee, Thou art great in sovereignty, Cast not off, O Lord! we pray, May we love thee more each day.
Help us all to cast on thee, Humbly, truly, bow the knee; Lead us all, O Lord, aright, Through earth's dark and dangerous night.
