THE BEREAN LIBRARY

Was established over one year ago, with the object of printing some of our larger books in a cheap form, in order that they might be more generally circulated. We believe the effort has been appreciated, as a large number of the books were sold. We hope for even a larger sale this year.
During the current year the publishers expect to make the Library more valuable than the preceding volume. The first number has already been issued. It is entitled “LOOKING UNTO JESUS, or Christ in Type and Antitype,” by Elder Uriah Smith. The author’s aim is to influence the readers to look unto Jesus, as the one means of salvation. It also shows the work of Christ in the Sanctuary; is a valuable, exhaustive treatise of that question, and is a book that should be read and studied thoroughly by every Seventh-day Adventist.
The articles by Elder A. T. Jones, on the “Third Angel’s Message” and the “Seven Trumpets,” will also appear as one number. Other numbers will be announced later.
Many subscriptions have expired. If you have not received a copy of No. 5, yours is one of them. You should renew at once, in order to receive this book, as it is one you can not afford to miss. The price of the Library is 75 cents per year.
