Note from Illinois Tent.

We have held thirteen meetings in the tent since we came to Northville. We had about 200 hearers the first evening. We have now about 350. A great many are young people. Last Sunday in the forenoon and evening we had 600 hearers. The people are evidently becoming interested. Books are going off quite lively.
This has the name of being a very hard place, yet the people treat us with civility and respect. We are trying to humble ourselves, and draw near to God, that we may have grace to do his work effectually.
We ask an interest in the prayers of all that love the prosperity of this cause.
