What Shall We Think?

WHAT conclusion shall we come to when we see men professing to be ministers of the Lord Jesus, sit around the fireside and chat away the whole of the evening, and at a late hour, one by one, to the number of three or four, retire for the night, leaving a prayerless altar and family circle behind?

2. When we hear a professed public teacher of the truths of God's word advise the use of an argument which he knows cannot be subscribed to by the one advised? It was said: “Though it is as much against you as your opponent, it will silence him!”
