TRUSTING GOD

There is one thing that Christians do not do as often as they ought, and that is, trust God for the little things in life. We do not go to him as we would to an earthly friend, and tell him all about what we want. We feel too much that we must tell him about our religion and let the rest go. Is it not the little things that make up the sum of our lives? Is it not the little things that trouble and perplex us? The little things laid upon our load (already so very heavy), laid on our weary shoulders one at a time, seemingly very little things, yet they make a fearful weight. We cannot carry them alone, and he is so willing to help us. Why not ask him? He himself says that even the hairs of our heads are all numbered.
