WE commenced a course of lectures at this place according to appointment, Wednesday, Sept. 18. Although the weather has been unfavorable, there has been good attendance. The audience is one of intelligence, and the best interest is manifested in listening to the word spoken.
There seems to be a very friendly feeling toward us pervading the entire community. We have given five discourses and the interest is increasing. We trust, by the assisting grace of God, that the meetings may be carried on to the glory of God and the advancement of his cause. We ask an interest in the prayers of the people of God to this end. ALBERT WEEKS, W. H. HASKIN.
