THE PREPARED PLACE.

I go to prepare a place for thee, The blessed Jesus said, I am the way, then follow me; I'm Christ, the living head.
I go to prepare a place for thee, Thou weary, sin-sick soul; Lay now thy burden all on me, And I will make thee whole.
I go to prepare a place for thee, Oh! faint not by the way. In darkest hours, trust thou in me, Thy night shall turn to day.
I go to prepare a place for thee, Child of my deathless love, That where I am, there thou may'st be In my Father's house above.
I go to prepare a place for thee, Where many mansions are, That there thou may'st my glory see, And in my kingdom share.
Oh! glorious hope, oh! blest abode, Where many mansions be, When shall I be with Christ my Lord, In the place prepared for me?
